~UPDATE~

I’ve been burning the midnight oil and havent been posting as much as I’d like but despite the various frustrations in the world that is, I am here. If you’re reading this thank you! Im in the process of moving (and it is a process) but I’ve been kicking it though and still handling business. I’m still watching Naruto Kai (SUB). With its running time of nearly an 1hr 30min per episode it’s been interesting for a lot of reasons and I’m trying to save a more in depth analysis until I’m actually finished with the entire series but I’m currently at the start of the 3RD GREAT NINJA WAR! and things are heating up. Naruto just learned how to love himself, met his mom and gained control over a portion of the ninetails chakra. When I was younger around the initial airing of this arc I kind of felt betrayed as a fan by Naruto’s character arc. I wanted him to be the passionate miscreant he always was, who seemed always at the ready to fuck up anyone and everyone if you were being a jackass, but now that I’m older I’m seeing things from a new perspective and can honestly say I’ve grown to really appreciate the maturing of his character, which if you knew my background says a lot about me. Sasuke stands not as an antagonist for Naruto but as a long lost child who’s run away from home and Naruto who’s in a way had to be both his own mother and father has to find a way to tell his bad ass kid to come back home. Naruto as a series is IMO is going to be one of those media products that’s going to remain and continuously feed the culture for years to come. Its just so many elements to go over but I’ll return to the topic in a later post, meanwhile, I’m rewatching Evangelion haven’t quite decided if I’m going SUB or DUB but there will be updates sometime eventually. I’ve currently made it through one episode and now Im debating wether to revi.sit some of my other favourite sadboi mecha’s. Other shows on my watchlist include but not limited to Steven Universe, Demon Slayer (traning arc), baki x kengan ashura, and TBA. Also finished DBZ rewatch a while back going super but I’ll make a post eventually. —-
