IMO Static Shock is DCs Spiderman and he’s being very under utilized for reasons unknown. But to the credit of my knowledge the original creator died and there’s been a battle over licensing rights over the years, but at this juncture in the DC Vs Marvel film industry arms race were not going to see a doomsday fight, infinite crisis, braniac. or even teen titans live on screen for like. The next 20 years. And I did have hope we’d be getting a superboy prime origin story/build up in the form of that movie “Brightburn” that came out in 2019,
but when I found that it had nothing to do with Superboy Prime, Superman, or even DC for that matter I didnt even bother. So yeah Static Shock movie is overdue and while we’re at it just put him in the Justice League too maybe then we’ll finally get a Batman Beyond Live action film?
