THOUGHTS ABOUT THE SUPERBOWL

This is more of a Kendrick Lamar v. Drake post. Without going too in depth I’ll just say that from the start of their situation I was kind of reminded of a certain Hey Arnold Episode, called “24 Hours To Live” in which our protagonist, Arnold, accidentally hits a baseball into the face of the local tough kid, Harold and he gets challenged to a fight. And Arnold being the cool guy he is doesn’t want conflict but Harold insists and thanks to some smooth talking by Arnolds secret lover Helga she buys him some time to get his thoughts together, but Arnold’s unable to find any proper counsel to the situation. So the following day they meet up where all the kids from what we can assume the school and city have shown up (Helga sold tickets) and the two combatants are finally face to face and before the fight starts Arnold sets down a radio he brought and more or less says —

Arnold: “Before we fight theres something you should know.”

Harold: “What?”

Arnold: “I might be cool right now but I’m actually f*cking crazy. And you shouldn’t pick fights with crazy people.”

Harold: “I’m intrigued, but can you prove it.”

Then Arnold hits play on his boombox and starts doing a dance routine straight from a Gremlins movie.

And once it’s over everyone watching has unanimously came to the conclusion that Arnold is in fact CRAZY.

Harold’s response —

Harold: “Wow, you really are crazy. Do you want to join our group!”

And the episode ends. And I may have embelished a little bit but that’s the end of the story and they would go to have further adventures with each other and blah-blah-blah. Now, I bring this up because I like to imagine there’s a universe where Harold unconvinced by the dance number follows through and actually has a fight with Arnold. The results of which that neither of their lives are ever the same again and we the viewers actually find out Arnold is actually crazier than we thought and Harold should have just kept it moving. But thankfully our Harold didnt want to push things further than necessary so ends the story. As mentioned in a previous post I don’t know either Drake or Kendrick personally or the details of their situation, but the Superbowl is today and I’m not really into football but I’m going to partake in a short prayer ๐Ÿ™ before I watch the halftime show later.

Enjoy your evening, stay cool and thank you for reading my blog folks.
