ROBOTS IN SPACE//???

So this is a continuation of the previous post in my dialogue about robots and qoute on qoute “progress”.

(DISCLAIMER: This post is going to require a lot of imagination because all the concepts I’m throwing out are just hypothetical and Im very aware there are people smarter than me who could better explain my ideas)

And there’s been a lot of conversations about putting people on Mars and building colonies. The plan if I recall (and I haven’t done very extensive research) is to build a rocket with enough power to make the trip (which makes sense) and basically find some people about that life willing to make a no return trip to the place, and till the land and prepare it for the next potential “test” group. And for me, “the not scientist”, I think we should send more robots of the humanoid/construction variety to do the job people obviously aren’t fully capable of physically doing themselves.

And in regards to robuts in space, there’s obviously going to be issues like power, and “wifi” signals (satellite communications) which me, “the not scientist”, thinks we figure out by making solar power recharge stations or idk an engine or turbine the robots could crank to power themselves in addition to some solar charging device.

And for the wifi, idk, maybe a launch a network of satellites between both planets (equipped to maneuver in space) to better relay information from Earth to da robots.

Maybe get some prebuilt tiny home-ish pod things that can support organic life where the robots can conduct experiments and or be manually controlled, but to the point what I’m really getting to is maybe some robots i.e. Constructicons (but not evil)—

(The Build Team from Transformers (RID). They turn into contruction equipment)

— get sent to Mars, they till the land and make sure everything is cool and then we send the people.

I have yet to see any sources propose the idea so I figured I’d write about it because why not? We’re making 3D printed homes which isn’t too big a deal for most people but I think we can make unmanned construction robots and send them to another planet, or moon. Speaking of which, we dont have a moon station yet and I know the dust on the moon is highly toxic, but idk. For many years I questioned the fact that we haven’t even figured out how to sustain life there yet (in an enclosed environment) and if we have it’s yet to be done, but we’re pushing for Mars 🤷‍♂️. But in the grand scheme of things I hope it all works out in my lifetime because I’d like to live out my fantasies of owning a giant robot and I think us figuring out space colonization is a good step in the right direction.

Anyways, Stay cool.
