Nature

Neglected to mention the weather in Ohio is becoming less, combative, and yesterday the temperature peaked somewhere near 72°F . Absolutely wonderful. And I happened to find time to go walk the trail of a local park but , unfortunately, I didn’t take any pics and I just wanted simply to enjoy the moment for what it was and I posted some pictures to paint a visual but they’re not from the location. There happened to be a lake nearby and I was surprised to find a coifish—–

— which definitely had not been there my previous visits just chilling along the edge of the shore and I approached and stared at it and he/she seemed unbothered or should I say rather coi and just did its own thing and chilled until another coifish speckled in white, black, gold scales came along to scope the scene and after a brief moment I assume they had business to attend, they parted ways and I bade them farewell.

As I continued along my stroll I thought “That was cool”. And that fish is definitely not a native species so whoevers doing the ecosystem shuffle with those guys I hope they know what they’re doing. Continuing on I Aaso spotted a couple turtles sunbathing on a log in the water, I spyed on them for a while then went further in the woods.

It was a nice walk, the air was nice, the weather was great, I got to see some dogs, just a good time overall. And after that I went home and ate some grilled cheese sandwiches.

Anyways, stay cool, protect our parks and here’s a poem by Robert Frost
