So I fucks with comedy right, and I like music. And a few weeks ago it came to my attention while watching a clip from the Howie Mandel podcast that Bill Burr and Billy Corgan were fucking related. Mind. BLOWN! I’m a fan of Bill Burrs comedy and it just so happens Im a fucking Smashing Pumpkins fan (although the last album I really listened to was Zeitgeist). But as incredible as the situation was it’s a little fucked up. And without giving too many details, Bill Burr shows up and he’s having a normal conversation with Howie Mandel —
— and they’re shooting the shit talking about what ever they’ve got going on and Billy Corgan shows up and you can see Bill Burr is upset—
–and Howie Mandel is in the background just (possiblly) evil genuising it up like, “Oh my. Whats this? Meanwhile. Mr. Corgan is like “I thought you told him I was coming?” to Howie Mandel.
And it’s absolute cinema but it never gets out of hand. But it seemingly works out and It’s a little heartwarming to watch and to me just goes to show how crazy life can get. But I’m happy for Bill Burr and Billy Corgan but their dad must’ve had super semen or something because even now I’m still flabbergasted at the turn of events in the paths their lives took. —UPDATE (3/22/25)—
Mr. Corgan just recently said in an interview they haven’t done a DNA test, but since Mr. Corgan put it out first, until it’s proven otherwise, from my eyes they shall continue to exist as brothers.
