So I just recently found out via a random article in my newsfeed that Jonathan Joss Gonzales the voice actor for John Redcorn in the King of the Hill series was gunned down last Sunday (June 1st) in Texas, near the mailbox of his property after a dispute with some neighbors. I’m not about to go full TMZ the information is online for anyone curious. But this is upsetting news especially with the upcoming show premiering this summer. But if it means anything, in the end I’m thankful for his work and my heart goes out to his family and close ones during this time. And with his unexpected passing I’m sure the entire King of the Hill community are abuzz at the moment with multitudes of emotion, but I’m hoping the parties involved are properly apprehended and everything gets resolved in good fashion.
R.I.P. Jonathan Joss Gonzales you will be missed but, never forgotten.
And to lighten the mood I would like to think there exist a world where Dale and John Redcorn (with the original voice actors) finally had that talk and workout their differences. And Joseph, despite everything, still gets to live a happy life and still experience the love of a good father.
