At 4:05PM today I learned from the radio that Ozzy [John Michael] Osbourne passed away. Even if youre not a fan you’ve gotta put some respect on the mans name .

And this really comes as a surprise because just last week Ozzy announced his retirement and prior to me finding out I saw that on YouTube trending Jack Black dropped a pretty nice cover of Mr. Crowley on Ozzy Osbournes YouTube channel (which I watched)
and I was going to write about it in my usual THINGS I’VE BEEN WATCHING post as well as Jocko Willinks appearance on Jack Osbournes YouTube channel —
—while paying tribute but I’m wishing everyone in the Osbourne camp well including, band mates, friends and other affiliates, but I know the Metal World’s definitely in a stir right now. And if you are a fan of metal, Black Sabbath should be a household name.
And I’ll be honest I’m kind of hurt while writing this 😅. I knew Ozzy was having health issues post pandemic but, I thought he had more time.
I’m a fan of his music and although I haven’t listened to everything, now I’ve got a good excuse to comb through his discography so that should be fun. And although I never knew him personally his music definitely touched my life
R.I.P. Mr. Osbourne, you will be remembered.
