So the adventures coming along but unfortunately I’m going to have to take a minor hiatus from playing due to an error with the “console” I’m playing on. It sucks but overall the game has still been pretty cool so far. If I had any gripes it’s that 1. the menu or item navigation could be better; it’s very tedious to arrange equipment and the best rpg I’ve ever experienced with superflous menu navigation would probably be Golden Sun for GBA and it puts this game to shame. There’s no easy option to sort my equipment and 2 The world map is absolute ass. You can open it and zoom in to where you are and zoom out, but you can’t maneuver around it properly. And while the more important places you’ve been are highlighted on the map you can’t even see the names of what they’re called. There’s a little skill called Zoom which teleports you’re party back to places you’ve been but even that’s a little futile because it doesn’t show the map just names, it’s very strange but I’m giving it some slack because it’s a PS2 game and for all I know maybe those features were improved in the later series? But the games been fun although I’ll admit the random battle RNG is a little intense but it’s cool and as you’ll see in the screenshot below whoever designed this game has a very wicked sense of humor and it reveals itself in the naming conventions for a lot of the monsters and skills you encounter. So stay tuned when I’m able to continue the quest I’ll update appropriately.
